Periodically LOTS has a need for a dispatcher and/or driver for its operation.
Currently, we are in need of part-time drivers.


DRIVER / PART-TIME

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

It is recognized that Lee-Ogle Transportation System operates at a TEAM. Although this position identifies specific duties, there are no tasks that excuse responsibility of any individual.  Drivers must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 21 years of age, operate the vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, provide excellent customer service with a focus on the riders of LOTS. Experience in operating lifts and ramps is preferred. Drivers are required to maintain accurate records regarding their trips. They will need to respond to accident or medical emergencies by notifying emergency response providers and rendering First Aid until emergency personnel arrives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to drive a multi-passenger vehicle safely and appropriately, including the ability to read and interpret road signs and maps; adhere to the rules and regulations of the Federal Transit Administration and the United States Department of Transportation. The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. The ability to prepare concise and accurate reports. The ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs. The ability to administer First Aid and CPR. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently; and /or 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects, and pass the company physical exam.  Applications will be kept on file for six (6) months.
